Fireworks to light up Valle Saturday
Excitement is brewing for this year's Annual Fireworks Display in Valle. Held the same day as the popular Thunder Over the Coconino Event, to be held at the Valle Airport, the fireworks is slated for 7-11 p.m. Saturday. The event is hosted by the Flinstones Campground, near the Highway 64, 180 junction between Williams and the Grand Canyon.

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - Grand Canyon's Green Heart: The Unsung Legacy of Plants, an exhibit focusing on Grand Canyon National Park's incredibly diverse plant communities, its rare plants, and the stewardship actions that the National Park Service takes to preserve and protect the park's vegetation, opens at Kolb Studio on the South Rim July 2.

More than just hardware
VALLE, Ariz. - After three months in business, people are beginning to take note of the new Grand Canyon Hardware and General Store, located at 833 S. Carol Ave. in Valle, found just south of the pyramid building on the dirt road alongside Highway 64. Offering a wide assortment of merchandise, from movies to groceries, hardware and storage areas, the new business has been opened for roughly three months, according to owner Bill Dailey.
