Family Harvest needs holiday donations
Family Harvest will be giving out around 100 Christmas baskets to the needy people of Williams. This is in addition to the 200-250 regular food baskets the church gives out monthly.
To help fill these baskets, the church is asking for donations. Turkeys, hams and holiday foods, along with cash donations, are being accepted.
For Thansgiving, the church gave out 30 holiday baskets to Williams families.

Emergency food bank seeks items
With Christmas just around the corner, Williams Emergency Food Bank is looking for items to be distributed to families in the Williams area during the holiday season.
Many items are still needed to ensure Christmas bounty for the needy. Canned goods, non-perishable items, dry goods, turkeys and hams are needed to fill Christmas baskets. They can be dropped off at 529 W. McPherson through noon Dec. 23.
Georgia Bowman, food bank director, said she had enough donations for 40 Thanksgiving food baskets and whishes to thank all those who donated.

St. Joseph’s hosts Christmas bazaar
Snowflakes from Heaven is taking requests for tables for their annual Christmas bazaar, scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph hall, 900 W. Grant Ave.
The bazzar will showcase a variety of vendors and the Legion of Mary members will once again be wrapping gifts purchased at the bazaar.
The tables are $10. Anyone interested can call Carol DeLander at 635-4426.
Christmas Boutique planned
A Christmas Boutique will be held 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bill Williams Senior Center, 850 W. Grant Ave. A few tables are still left and cost $10.
Crafts will include a variety of wares from hand-sewn items to woodwork. Also, Dolores Paredes will sell Mexican food. Lunch will be available for pick-up after 9:30 a.m.

Homemakers seek holiday crafters
The Aspen Homemakers are holding their annual Christmas Bazaar Saturday 9 a.m.-1p.m. at Canyon Chapel. A quilt and holiday basket will be raffled off. Funds raised benefit high school scholarships.

WVW annual cedar chest raffle
The Williams Volunteer Women are currently selling tickets for their annual cedar chest raffle.
The chest is on display downtown at Arizona Public Service and will be raffled off at the WVW Christmas bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church.
Tables for the event are still available for $10 apiece. The proceeds from the raffle benefit the WVW scholarship fund, which awards two $250 scholarships each year.
