Marion N. Perkins

Marion N. Perkins, 76, of Camp Verde, died July 8, 2000 at the Sedona Emergency Center.

Mr. Perkins was born Feb. 13, 1924 in Prescott, the son of Marion N. Perkins Sr. and Evelyn Edith Duncan Perkins.

He was employed by Trail Horse Adventures a division of Kachina Stables in Sedona. Mr. Perkins had lived all over northern Arizona and worked as a cowboy most of his life. He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Camp Verde and longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He had many horses and dogs and enjoyed teaching people how to ride.

Survivors include three daughters, Ann Bisjak of Chino Valley, Josephine Perkins of Chino Valley and Desiree Norley of Oregon; a brother, Tom Perkins of Chino Valley; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. July 15 at the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Humane Society.
