Billy F. Williams

Billy F. Williams, 65, of Chino Valley died at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott May 1, 2001. He was born Dec. 4, 1935 in Austin, Texas, the son of Lewis F. and Inell Parker Williams.

Mr. Williams moved to Phoenix in 1941 from Hutchison, Kan. He was employed as a warehouse manager for A.J. Bayless. Mr. Williams was a member of Community of Christ Church and Bill Williams Mountain Men. He was also a former posse member in Phoenix.

Mr. Williams loved his horses and trail riding. He looked forward to the ride down the mountain from Williams each spring with the mountain men and planned on taking his grandchildren in the future.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Guyman and Diane Williams of Queen Creek, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Juanita Watts of Sparks, Nev., and Dorothy and Bob Chapman of Cathedral City, Calif.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Carolyn Williams of Las Vegas, Lewis and Pat Williams of Peoria, and Robert and Rosemary Williams of Albuquerque, N.M., a grandchild, Jennifer Brandon and close friends Susie and Vernon Godfrey.

Graveside services were held May 8 at Chino Valley Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Mottel officiating.
