Pet clinic in town Thursday

Plateauland Mobile Veterinary Clinic will hold a spay/neuter and vaccination clinic 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18 at the city parking lot.

Vaccinations include 5-1 for dogs, 5-1 for cats and rabies.

No appointment is needed for vaccinations, but call ahead of time to schedule spay or neutering.

Animals scheduled for surgery must fast, which means no food or water, 12 hours prior to surgery. Vaccinations are scheduled between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Trevor Harrison, Williams Animal Control officer, will be on hand with 2002 city licenses, which cost $5.

In addition to licenses, dog owners are required to have a current rabies certificate.

For more information, call Plateauland at 226-9312 or Harrison at 635-4461. The next scheduled Plateauland visit for Williams is scheduled for Aug. 28.
