Following is a rundown of events from the Grand Canyon, Tusayan and Valle area for the period of Dec. 3 - Dec. 13.
Wednesday, Dec. 3
6:30-8 p.m. – Art Class, Recreation Center. KM Withers offers instruction in drawing, watercolors, oils, colored pencil. Cost: $12. Info: 638-6334.
7-8 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Kachina Lodge, Kachina room.
Thursday, Dec. 4
1-1:30 p.m. — Story Time for children ages 2-5 at Grand Canyon Library, Navajo Street. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Friday, Dec. 5
7-8 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Kachina Lodge, Kachina room.
8:15-9:15 p.m. — Al-Anon Family Group meeting at Thunderbird Lodge, Kiva room.
Saturday, Dec. 6
9 a.m.-3 p.m. — Grand Canyon Community Church Christmas Bazaar offering hand-crafted items and other merchandise, Grand Hotel, Tusayan.
Monday, Dec. 8
7 p.m. – PTA meeting, Room 112, Grand Canyon School.
7-8 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Kachina Lodge, Kachina room.
Tuesday, Dec. 9
10 a.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Grand Canyon Recreation Center, piano room.
Wednesday, Dec. 10
6 p.m. – Community Bingo Night, Recreation Center. Drinks and snacks provided.

Thursday, Dec. 11
6-8 p.m. – Stampin’ Up Work Night, Recreation Center. Bring your rubber stamps and share with others to make holiday cards, scrapbook pages and more. Supplies available for a small fee. Info: Betsy at 638-2381.
Friday, Dec. 12
7 p.m. – “Christmas at the School of Charm,” by Grand Canyon Ballet Company, at the Rec Center. Original story with choreography by ballet artistic director Sonja Rojas. Free, but donations accepted.
Saturday, Dec. 13
2 p.m. – “Christmas at the School of Charm,” by Grand Canyon Ballet Company, Rec Center. Free, but donations accepted.
