Soccer banquet bittersweet for longtime coach<br>

Of those seniors, Chas Iacampo was named MVP, Brian Skeet won the Hustle Award and Jacob Wahler received the Best Teammate Award.
Junior and leading scorer Miles Hunter won the Golden Boot Award, having tallied 12 goals and 8 assists on the season.
Among the sophomores, Justin Kremer and Christopher Streit both received Most Improved Player awards, goalkeeper Jesse Hunter won the Ball Stops Here Award and Matthew Beckerleg was named Defender of the Year.
Hunter said the outstanding season, during which the team made its first-ever trip to the state finals, wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the parents and fans. He also thanked the Booster Club, which organized the awards banquet; Prinicipal and Athletic Director Bob Kelso; and bus drivers Dan, Rudy and Ray, who got the team to all their games.
