(Following is a summary of last week's Williams Little League Majors baseball games. Players who collect two-plus hits or an extra-base hit are listed, based on the official scorebook, along with the winning pitcher).
May 19
Tigers 9, Cardinals 1
The Williams Tigers erupted for six runs in the first inning en route to a 9-1 victory over the Grand Canyon Cardinals.
Tigers’ leadoff batter Carl Osborne hit a home run in the bottom of the first and the team added five more runs, thanks to walks and a triple by Joel Montoya.
Josh Pettit and Bobby Pruett each collected two hits for the Tigers, including a double by Pettit. Carlton Godinez nailed a triple for the Cards.
Osborne won the game at pitcher.

Wednesday
Diamondbacks 12, Astros 9
The Williams Diamondbacks took advantage of walks and timely singles to score six runs in the third inning to defeat the Williams Astros, 12-9.
Robbie Puga and Michael Davis each had two hits to lead the Diamondbacks offensively. Keaton Hageman served as a middle reliever for the D-Backs and ended up with the win.
Raul Duran led the Astros with three hits, including a pair of doubles. Ethan Durnez hit a triple.

Thursday
Tigers 12, Pirates 0
Bobby Pruett and Trevor Parenteau combined for a two-hitter in a 12-0 victory for the Williams Tigers over the Parks Pirates.
The Tigers displayed plenty of hitting power with Pruett leading the way with three hits, including a triple. Chuck Sandoval, Trevor Parenteau and Garret Parenteau each had two hits, including two doubles by Sandoval and a triple by Garret Parenteau. Josh Pettit had a triple and Steven Webber came off the bench to hit a double.
Keegan Axtell had a double for the Pirates.

Friday
Diamondbacks 10, Devil Rays 8
The Williams Diamondbacks downed the Ash Fork Devil Rays for the second time in two weeks to remain unbeaten. The D-Backs scored four in the third and three in the fourth on their way to a 10-8 victory.
Michael Pettit relived Keaton Hageman at pitcher and was credited with the victory. Offensively, Pettit led a balanced Williams attack with two singles.
The Devil Rays were led by Michael Jackson and Ethan Carmen, who each had two hits, including a double by Carmen. Dave Ecklof, Wally Singley and Josh Gray also had doubles.

Pirates 13, Astros 12
The Parks Pirates rallied from an 11-4 deficit to knock off the Williams Astros, 13-12.
Parks outscored the opponent 9-1 over the final three innings to win its third game of the season. Keegan Axtell won the game in relief at pitcher and had two hits, including a triple. Colby Adragna had a double.
For the Astros, Shawn McWilliams led with two hits, including a double. Ethan Durnez and Timmy Davis had triples and Raul Duran hit a double.
