During the period of Oct. 24-27, U.S. Park Rangers at Grand Canyon National Park responded to the following incidents:

Sunday, Oct. 24

• Rangers assisted the Tusayan Fire Department with medical calls at Tusayan McDonalds and the Grand Hotel dorm.

• A 2-year-old boy and 52-year-old woman were treated for a fever and a 36-year-old woman was treated for general illness.

• An adult was treated for an ankle injury.

• A mountain bike and a doorknob were reported stolen.

• Rangers warned two drivers for off-road travel, one for a vehicle registration violation and two for speeding.

• Marvin Woody was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Flagstaff.

• Deborah Roberts was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and cited for speeding.

• Melvin Woody and Tom Yazzie were cited for being under the influence of alcohol. Yazzie was also cited for providing false information.

• Pamela Meyer was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

• Lost keys were found.

• Jimmie Thompson was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Monday, Oct. 25

• A camper was warned for being out-of-bounds.

• Rangers treated an 89-year-old woman with shortness of breath and a 69-year-old man with a heart attack.

• Rangers issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized with a marker.

• Two drivers were warned for speeding.

• Keeshay Tolstoy-White was cited for possession of marijuana.

• Phantom Ranch rangers assisted two hikers.

• Overdue hikers were located at Tuweep.

• A 52-year-old woman was treated for rib pain after falling off a mule.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

• An auto vs auto accident was reported.

• Rangers gave seven warnings for illegal parking, three for speeding, four for equipment violations and one for unsafe operation.

• The Tusayan Fire Department sought aid for a medical dispatch to the Squire Inn and Camper Village in Tusayan.

• Rangers gave three warnings for public intoxication.

• A 60-year-old woman with a knee injury was flown from Cottonwood.

Wednesday, Oct. 27

• Rangers treated a 68-year-old woman with a lip laceration.

• Rangers gave one warning for speeding, two for vehicle registration violations, one for a vehicle equipment violation and three for illegal parking.

• Rangers gave a warning for disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol.

• A 50-year-old man with an arm laceration was flown from Phantom Ranch.

• Rangers moved campers from a flooded site at Indian Garden.
