Angel tree is up at McDonald's

The annual Angel Tree is up at the Tusayan McDonald's for donors to buy Christmas gifts for local youngsters in need. Just choose a name, sign in and buy a gift for that child based on gender and age. It's recommended that gifts cost between $15 and $20.

Wrapped gifts must be returned to McDonald's by Thursday, Dec. 15.

Also, volunteer Salvation Army bell ringers are needed for two-hour shifts between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to collect donations at Delaware North General Store on Fridays and Saturdays until Christmas. Money collected goes to help local families in need all year.
