HS, MS winter concert planned
The Grand Canyon High School and Middle School bands present their annual winter concert at the Shrine of the Ages tonight at 6:30 p.m.
This performance, under the direction of George Haughton, will feature several original and popular songs including a Russian-inspired circus number, several standard jazz tunes, two vocal pieces and a Latin dance written especially for the Grand Canyon High School band.
The Middle School band will perform several original numbers and an arrangement of "Alley Cat." The concert is free but seating is limited, so please arrive early.
The Grand Canyon PTA will also complete their silent auction for several theme baskets that night. Baskets for such themes as pampering yourself, chocolate and family games, will be on display with bidding throughout the concert.
