Youth soccer signup still on

Deadline to sign up for Grand Canyon's AYSO soccer league is Friday, June 10. The cost is $50 per player. Register on-line at

Registration is completed when fees are paid and the waiver form is received at the Flagstaff office.

If you need your child's online access code from last year, you can get it from Laura Berry or Jon Streit, the local soccer director.

AYSO is open to all children 5-18. There are two different play schedules one the U16-U19 (age 14-18) league and another for children under 14.

U16-U19 has its first game this Saturday, with games through July 30. The younger divisions starts practice the week of June 16, with games from July 9-Aug. 27. Games for U16-U19 are generally in Flagstaff, with the younger children playing most of games at Grand Canyon. All games are on Saturdays.

The local soccer organization is also offering a Peewee league if there is enough interest.

For more information please contact Nora Berry at 638-2794, or Jon Streit at 638-6485.
