School winter concert tonight
Tonight, at 6:30, the Grand Canyon High School and Middle School bands present their annual winter concert at the Shrine of the Ages.
This performance, under the direction of George Haughton, will feature several original and classic selections; including "Hit the Road Jack," "Hotel California," a medley of Chicago songs, "Rule #1," "The Irish Pipers" and some jazz improvisation. Students should report to the Shrine of the Ages by 6:15 p.m.
Caroling in the park Saturday
Members of the staff at the Grand Hotel will lead an annual Christmas Caroling outing into the park on Saturday. All are invited to participate. To take part, meet at the Grand Hotel at 6 p.m. Hot chocolate will be served afterwards.
