Francis Leo Nick
Francis Leo Nick passed away on Jan. 18, 2006.
He was was born on Sept. 25, 1926, to John and Mary Nick in Kansas City, Kansas.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Nick of Basehor, Kansas; two sons, Francis A. Nick of Seligman and John Nick of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Joyce Aldrich of Vidir, Texas, Rita Delgadillo of Seligman and Mary Kay Wilhelmson; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He served in the Navy in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He had a long Civil Service career, retiring from the National Park Service at Grand Canyon in 1980. He spent his final years in Seligman.
He was our beloved "Friendly Frank" who, in the prime of his life, could build or fix anything.
He will be dearly missed.
