In celebration of America's day
Residents didn't let the threat of rain interfere with the Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce July 4 Parade. The procession lasted about 20 minutes on the afternoon of July 4, with Grand Marshal, District 1 Supervisor Carl Taylor, leading. It ended just as the rain started to fall. The floating trophy for the best float changed hands from Tinkerville Kids to Red Feather Lodge with this effort designed by Josh Collet and Ross Del Villar. Trinidad Elias and sons Shawn and Ruben didn't let the rain stop their fun at the barbecue following the parade.
