Cancer screens for women set
There will be a women's cancer screening here on Tuesday, May 1, to provide mammography and pap tests to uninsured and underinsured women.
It will be at North Country Community Health Center.
Women between the ages of 40 and 65 are invited for free screening if they have no insurance, or insurance that either doesn't cover mammograms or requires a deductible of more than $100.
Most insurance is accepted as well.
The Well Woman Health Check Program operates under the Arizona Department of Health Services, Division of Public Heath Services.
An appointment is required. To make one, call 928-213-6104 or 1-800-687-5798, ext. 204
