Documentary of river trip to be shown here

The Grand Canyon Association and NPS will host free screenings of "Right to Risk: A Fifteen Day Journey Through Arizona's Grand Canyon" at the Shrine of the Ages this Tuesday. They are at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

"Right to Risk" is a documentary film chronicling a life-affirming Colorado River trip through the Grand Canyon by eight individuals with disabilities and their guides. It was produced by Kathleen Jo Ryan, who also produced the documentary "Writing Down the River." She will be present at the screenings to answer questions and autograph her book and DVD.

There will also be a screening at Northern Arizona's Cline Library in Flagstaff on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m.
