Better year for Lady Phantoms
Grand Canyon's Lady Phantoms Volleyball Team made it to the regional finals Friday and Saturday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 where they were knocked out in their first game. Still they ended this season on a better note than last, when they came in dead last in the league. This year, they finished eighth out of 13. Mogollon was league champion followed by Joseph City, Beaver Dam, Fredonia, Williams, Rock Point and St. Michaels. Coming in behind Grand Canyon were Seligman, Ash Fork, Northland Prep, White Cone and Music Mountain.
