Winter concert rescheduled

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, Grand Canyon High School and Middle School bands will present their annual winter concert at the Shrine of the Ages. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

This performance, under the direction of George Haughton, will feature several original and classic selections. The high school performs "Home for the Holidays," "Come Together," "The Tide is High" featuring Ashley Beale, The Blues Boys singing "Sweet Home Chicago" and "Flip, Flop, Fly, Ain't No Sunshine" by the Bowman Brothers, and a medley of Bob Seger songs.

The middle school will perform "The Way You Do The Things You Do," "Winter Wonderland" and "Rhythm Imperium," which features the drum line. And, the sixth grade band will start the concert with "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the University of Michigan Fight Song. All students should report to the Shrine of the Ages by 6:15 p.m.
