AYSO season a go
Enough players have come together to form a few Grand Canyon youth soccer teams, thanks to the efforts of parent Emmons Berry, the AYSO board and a few players from Williams.
There will be a U 5-6 team with about six players. There is also a U8 team with eight or nine players. Neither team has a coach. The U14 team has eight Grand Canyon players and a couple filling in from Williams. Jack Pennington is returning to coach and is looking for an assistant.
Practice starts on Monday and will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:45-7 p.m.
It is not too late to sign up; if you haven't done this but want to, or if you know others who might be interested, please go to www.flagsoccer.org. For more information, contact Cheryl Mobley at (928) 638-2461, ext. 200.
