Health Fair planned here

The second annual Grand Canyon and Tusayan Community Health Awareness Fair will be held Thursday from noon-6 p.m. at the Rec Center.

It is being sponsored by Xanterra South Rim, along with other local businesses and organizations including the National Park Service and North Country Health Care.

Grand Canyon and Tusayan residents can take advantage of wellness checks, learn about safety awareness and find out more about healthy living.

There will also be healthy snacks, door prizes, and other giveaways along with ambulance and fire engine tours for the kids.

Spanish and Navajo speakers will also be present.
