Kolb Studio at the Grand Canyon’s South Rim.

Any trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon would not be the same without a stop at the historic Kolb Studio located along the Rim Trail. Besides serving as a gift shop for visitors, where travelers can soak up the history of the famed building, the site also serves as exhibit space for the Grand Canyon Association. The studio is currently open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The longtime South Rim fixture once served as the home and photography studio for the Kolb brothers, both famous for their amazing photographs in and around Grand Canyon. Today, the studio is for a number of exciting exhibits, including the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art and the upcoming "Green Heart" exhibit focusing on the Canyon's plan life.
