GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - An Oregon man reported as an endangered missing person Oct. 28 has been found dead near Grand Canyon National Park. Gary Shannon Krumholz, 38, was entered into the National Crime Information Center as an endangered missing person by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Oregon last month.
On Nov. 19, the Grand Canyon National Park Service Law Enforcement Division received a 911 call from ranchers that had located a body in the east Rim of the Upper Basin, north of Highway 64.
