Grand Canyon Chamber mixer sees strong turnout
The Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce's mixer held Feb. 11, hosted by the Squire Inn, featured bowling along with a presentation dedicated to the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) to be held in April.
The chamber has partnered with LETR to bring awareness to the event with the hopes to assist the Special Olympics. This year marks the run's 25th anniversary and will be the first year the Grand Canyon Chamber is affiliated.
Grand Canyon National Park Special Agent, Clyde Yee, won the 50/50 draw that he donated back to the chamber. Norm Hannah won a Cliff Castle Casino weekend and Yvonne Trujillo won a banner ad from Grand Canyon News.
The chamber raised almost $800.
