Christmas tree tags available now at Tusayan Ranger District office
WILLIAMS, Ariz. - The Kaibab National Forest are selling over-the-counter Christmas tree tags out of the Williams Ranger District office and out of the Tusayan Ranger District office. A total of 200 tags will be available for two cutting areas on the Williams Ranger District and 100 tags for one cutting area on the Tusayan Ranger District.
The tags will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until all the tags are gone. Pinyon pines and juniper trees are available. Tags are $15 per tree for trees up to 10 feet in height.
Tags for the Williams Ranger District can be purchased only at the Williams Ranger District office, 742 S. Clover Rd. in Williams, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
Tags for the Tusayan Ranger District can be purchased only at the Tusayan Ranger District office, 176 Lincoln Log Loop in Tusayan, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
The Christmas tree tags can be purchased with cash or check only. Correct change is appreciated. Customers will be provided a map that shows the designated cutting areas.
