Rotary seeks applications for community grants
The Grand Canyon Rotary Club is offering $1,000 in fall community grants. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 4. Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations for programs and projects that benefit our communities.
To apply, write a brief letter describing your need and the amount of funding being sought. Successful winners will be invited to a 2012 Rotary Club meeting to present on their program and how these funds are being used.
Recipients will be announced at the annual Rotary chili cookoff on Sept. 27 at 6 p.m.
