Anamorphic 3D art newest attraction in Tusayan
GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - On the way to the Grand Canyon, many visitors make a stop at the National Geographic Visitor Center to take in an IMAX film and have a bite to eat. But, now vistors can stand on the edge of a virtual Grand Canyon thanks to artist Kurt Wenner.
Wenner has created a new work of his world famous 3D pavement art this summer at the Visitor Center located in Tusayan, minutes from the park entrance.
Wenner combines traditional street painting techniques with his classical training in Renaissance classicism, to invent an art form all his own, that has come to be known as anamorphic or 3D pavement art.
