Tusayan Town Council recall election in voters' hands Tuesday
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Coconino County Elections office is preparing for the upcoming election March 13 in Tusayan.
The recall election was originally aimed at three Tusayan Town Council members. Craig Sanderson was recently appointed by the Tusayan Town Council to fill Cecily Maniaci's seat left vacant after her recent resignation.
Tusayan Fire Chief Robbie Evans is running against Tusayan Mayor Greg Bryan and Tusayan resident Clarinda Vail will face off against Councilman Al Montoya.
To be eligible to vote in this election, a voter must have been registered by Feb. 13 and live within the boundaries of the district. If an eligible voter does not receive a ballot by Thursday, Feb. 23 please contact the Elections Office at (928) 679-7860 or toll free at (800) 793-6181 to obtain a replacement ballot.
The election is being conducted as a polling place election at The Grand Hotel and voters currently signed up on the Permanent Early Voting list (PEVL) will be sent their early ballot via mail starting Feb. 16. There are several options for a voter to request a mailed early ballot including:

Fill out and submit an electronic request form at www.coconino.az.gov/elections.
Tusayan voters can cast an early vote at the Grand Canyon Superintendent of Schools office at 1 Boulder Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Thursday through tomorrow.
Voters can also vote at the main Elections Office at 110 E. Cherry Ave. in Flagstaff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday until the end of this week.
