Obituary: Mark Alan Fischer
Mark Alan Fischer, born April 3, 1963, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 25, 2015 at Grand Canyon Village. He is survived by his father Jerry Fischer of San Diego, California and his sister Wanda Auger of Lake Oswego, Oregon and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death in 1999 by his mother Heather Fischer of Cusick, Washington.
Mark worked as a professional driver for Paul Revere Transportation at the Grand Canyon for 15 years. He worked for Xanterra for a year before that. Mark drove truck across country for CR England and Jim Palmer. Before he hit the road he worked night stock at Macy in Spokane, Washington.
Mark was loved by all who knew and spent time with him. He was a loyal and faithful friend and was always quick to help someone in need.
He loved the great outdoors. Hiking, biking, exploring and photography were his passions. He loved to laugh and his smile was genuine.
A celebration of life will take place in Grand Canyon Village at the Community Building May 15 from noon to 4 p.m. com celebrate his life with his family and share your stories and pictures of Mark.
