Winter Carnival kicks off local centennial celebrations at Grand Canyon National Park

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - Grand Canyon National Park held a Winter Carnival Feb. 26 at the Grand Canyon School multi-purpose room. The event was part of a community kick off for the National Park Service's 100th birthday. The event featured carnival games, giveaways, food and opportunity for people to take pictures at the park's 'Find Your Park' booth. The event was free and open to anyone in the Grand Canyon and Tusayan communities.
