GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - The Bering Land Bridge National Preserve in northwest Alaska is big - 2.7 million acres type of big and getting around that much country is no easy task. That's one reason the National Park Service (NPS) hires and trains pilots to fly into and out of the preserve.
