11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - Book signing with geologist Wayne Ranney, author of "Carving Grand Canyon," El Tovar. Ranney will also be at Yavapai Observation Station from 3-4:40 p.m.
11:45 p.m. - Midnight Movie Madness featuring "Sweeney Todd" (R), Grand Canyon Rec Center. Free, with popcorn and lemonade served.
Friday, April 11
6 p.m. - Friday Night Movie featuring "Enchanted" (PG), Grand Canyon Rec Center. Free, with popcorn and lemonade served. (Movie replays Saturday at 10 a.m. with free coffee and pastries.)
Tuesday, April 15
6:30 p.m. - Grand Canyon School Board, Grand Canyon School library.
7 p.m. - Ping Pong Tournament, Grand Canyon Rec Center. Entry fee: $2, limited to 16 players.
Wednesday, April 16
10 a.m. - Coconino Community College Board Meeting, Grand Canyon School.
1-3 p.m. - Coconino Community College Open House, Room 404, Grand Canyon School.
Friday, April 18
6 p.m. - Friday Night Movie featuring "There Will Be Blood" (R), Grand Canyon Rec Center. Free, with popcorn and lemonade served. (Movie replays Saturday at 10 a.m. with free coffee and pastries.)
Sundays
6-9 p.m. - Open Gym Basketball at Grand Canyon School, open to ages 16 and up. Wear non-marking shoes.
Mondays
6 a.m. - Grand Canyon Running Club, for all abilities from walker to marathoner, meet at the Rec Center.
Wednesdays
6 p.m. - Grand Canyon Running Club, for all abilities from walker to marathoner, meet at the Rec Center.
7-8 p.m. - Alcoholics Anonymous, Kachina Lodge, Kachina room.
7 p.m. - Grand Canyon Lions Club, Quality Inn, Tusayan (first and third Wednesdays.)

11-11:30 a.m. - Story Time at Grand Canyon Library for infants and preschoolers.
12-1 p.m. - Grand Canyon Rotary, Thunderbird Room, Thunderbird Lodge.
Fridays

8:15-9:15 p.m. - Al-Anon Family meeting, Thunderbird, Kiva room.
Saturdays
6 p.m. - Karaoke, Grand Canyon Rec Center. Feel free to bring your own CDs.
