A malfunctioning pump that supplies water to the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park has been repaired and the park is beginning a phased-in approach to easing water restrictions over the next several days.
With water again filling the South Rim storage tanks, Grand Canyon National Park will ease restrictions on water use.
The North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park will open as scheduled May 15, but with limited visitor services and water conservation measures in place after a break in the North Rim water pipeline.
